I know that everyone is coming down pretty hard on him right now, but what do you think about Rex Grossman? Do you think that he's really out to win it? Do you think next season will just be a repeat performance? Does he have what it takes to be a quarterback great?

Rex Grossman doesn't have enough talent to be the starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears. He throws too many interceptions, makes poor judgement calls, and is way too inconsistent.

Rex Grossman is a terrible quarterback. This year was ALOT like last year. The Bears were good in spite of their quarterback...not because of him. They had a stellar record with Kyle Orton at the helm. Kyle Freakin Orton! Grossman will never be good. His arm is overrated. You can count on two hands how many good passes he threw this year. Many of his touchdowns came due to poor defense (missed tackles, blown coverage, etc.). He had very few TD's that were flat out great passes. He also lacks the ability to correctly identify defensive schemes, and their weaknesses, i.e. many interceptions. His true form will shine, rather, smudge, next year when the Bears have a real schedule.

So what do you suggest we do with Grossman? Take him out back and put him out of his misery? I do believe the Bears are great despite their quarterback and I believe that if they can meld an incredible defense with a better offense they would be a team I'm sure you would jump on the bandwagon to cheer for.

I think the coach for the Bears should switch Grossman out. I'm sorry but he stinks. The game against San Diego, was sad. Rex basically handed the ball over to them. I honestly hope he gets his act together. It's hard living in a house with a Bears fan, especially when they lose.

Fans are definitely being too harsh on Grossman. If Rivera made any adjustments on defense the Bears would have had a chance. Aside from that, Grossman didn't play great, but with an adjusting defense they could have played a closer game. Bears will be back in 2007!

The Bears didn't have a chance. The Colts were only the second good team the Bears played ALL year (The Patriots were the other one...hmm, what happened in that game?). The weather played a large factor in the Super Bowl. Had it been sunny and 60 degrees, Manning might have put up 100!

100, please...althought I do agree with your enthusiasm of Manning's passing abilities, I doubt that he could have pulled that off. The Bears will be back in 2007!

Rex has the heart and will to do well...He just has a problem making bad decisions at times...He's still young and not overly expereinced...Still learning and growing...He will get the Bears a ring if they keep working and doin =g what they're doing

But when do you come to the point that if you keep making bad decisions you are a problem. People with the best intentions are still not hitting the mark. I question his heart though. Do you really think that he can be molded and trained? I think that he's going into this thinking that he's making the right decisions and it's hard to hear correction if you think you're already right.
