A Slip-Up

I quit smoking about two months ago and hadn't thought about it for weeks. The other night I had a dream in which I was smoking and it was so wonderful. When I woke up that morning I couldn't get it out of my mind. I was obsessing about it. So I grabbed one of my roommate's smokes and had one. It sucked! Tasted bad, I felt bad, the whole thing was just so stupid. I haven't had the desire for one since. Hope it sticks! Dumb dreams. Anybody else have slip-ups lately?

Been there. I had quite for two years and ended up starting again when I was at a group home. They constantly offered me cigs and I started up again. Been slowing down graduly this time hope to quit in a couple of months.

Congrats to you for quitting, and double congrats for not slipping beyond just the one. I tried to quit a few times with lots of slips. I finally quit for good about 16 years ago and I haven't slipped since.
Keep it up gotbot
