I definitely partake in the inner dialogue thing. I'm very verbal in general and I pretty much have a constant inner dialogue. I don't think my imagination is quite as vivid as JD's but I do imagine how things will play out; sometimes the imagined scenario is pretty funny.

I think that I'm pretty similar. My husband is worse than me though. He'll laugh out loud at the scenarios being played out in his head. He must have some pretty inventive ones.

I guess so! I think I actually have gotten more inventive in my head since watching JD play out his scenarios; I guess it helps me consider more outlandish possibilities.

I can totally relate to JD. Yes, I have a tendency to have inner dialogue going on a lot of the time. Life's just not as interesting and fun if you don't! This seems to happen when I'm in a confusing or amusing situation. For example: taking a ridiculously hard exam that's almost fun to take because you have no clue what any of the answers are. In those situations, you almost have to have humor to get through such a thing, so what better place to go than inside your head? I don't go as far as acting out long scenarios in my head, but occasionally there are short ones. Things can definitely get interesting.

I would have to say that in certain situations, yes, I do have that inner dialogue running that is usually making comments on the way that someone else is acting or how they approached a situation. I actually have quite a vivid imagination and I like to stretch it by wondering what could play out, vs. what did play out. Great post by the way, I love the show, watching reruns everynight on comedy central, and new ones on NBC Thursday nights!

I would have to say yes, my mind is kinda like JD's but I am very blunt also.
I am always having something running through my mind and I have even caught myself smiling or laughing about a scenario. I do it more at night but sometimes when I see something funny in a store I think about what would happen if a camera crew was there or something crazy like that.
