Discussions about you on myLot?

Do you ever log on to myLot to find that there is a discussion about you on there? How about one from your husband/wife/or significant other? How does this make you feel? The last few weeks, my wife has been hooked on myLot and I think at least half of her discussions are about me or something I do wrong. My wife doesn't like me talking about our marital problems to other people, like my mother, for example. But everytime I do something that she doesn't like, the first person she tells is her mother, and now she's telling people she's never met (no offense to anyone) about me. I don't mind her being on myLot, but if she's going to talk about me, I'd at least like an advance warning before I log onto a website and find it out for myself.

Oh dear, that sounds tough. If I were you I'd tell her how you feel, and try to encourage her to talk with you if she has issues, or ask her why she doesn't. If you can encourage open discussion between the two of you, she might stop gossiping about you and her with others. There may be some reason why she doesn't go directly to you, ie if she's worried that it will become a big issue if she goes to you about whatever it is. Communication and not reacting too much is probably the best piece of advice I can give you.
