My daughter is talking about selling their house and moving into a caravan what do you think about the idea?

My daughter used to live in a mobile home in our back garden and unless your daughter is in financial difficulty and has to sell her home, then I would not recommend it. It was nice in Summer but it was so cold in winter, and when she lit the gas fire, the condensation was rolling down the walls. My grandchildren used to be cold all the time and they all ended up coming back over to stay in my house. I suppose in the end, it is really your daughter'c choice.

That is a very bad idea. First of all by selling the house you lose your biggest assest and tax right off. Why would she want to sell the house..Something that she may can do instead of selling rent the place out to have more income coming in....

I don't like.
I prefer a solid house, I think it's a lot more comfortable than a caravan.

Does not sound like a good way of investing money. Why does she want to do that?
