Any Nursing students?

In my school the nursing program is really extensive. We have to learn about different people and movements that made an impact on the nursing career we know today. What are your thoughts on the influences made by the women's movement and florence nightingale among others?

I am also a nursing student in an extensive program! I know what you speak of- different cultures and movements. I was really fascinated by the Florence Nightingale story! What a woman! I think it's grand that she made hospitals sanitary places and brought kindness to patients. I'm also glad nurses have a much better reputation today, because of her!

yes, I agree. I find it fascinating how well she was able to use observation and come about all her findings and contributions to nursing!
