Chicken extinct and endangered...

That is right there are many farm animals breeds that have become extinct and others are endangered!!! Chicken definitely classify under this..What are your thoughts on this?

I am very sorry to tell you that I cannot agree with you on this point. Chickens, cows, pigs, goats and sheep cannot possibly go extinct because people are into the business of growing and breeding them always. Govenments even conduct continuous research in improving their breed. Animals which get people's attention, because they are considered for primary consumption can never go extinct because, the very main source of the supplies cannot afford to lose stock at any one time. It is the very source of the livelihood of these suppliers/farmers.
Just think how many billions of chickens must have been slaughtered already and yet instead of getting extinct, the population of the birds has even grown steadily up. So is true with the pigs. The population of the pigs has grown up, too as more people are into pig raising. There is a possibility though, that the native and wild breeds shall be gone through the years as people shall prefer the new breeds which produce more meat or is proven to be more resistant to some illnesses.
