"When I grow up I want to be a teacher"...That was what I said when I was once holding a microphone in front of a big crowd during our Kindergarten graduation. It was really my dream to teach kids and be called "ma'am". And I was so blessed to have my parents supporting me all the way up. They sent me to Cebu Normal University where I got my Teacher Diploma a couple of years back. I then landed a teaching job a month before I graduated, that was even before I got my license. Yeah teaching is fun... but for some reasons I head my way off the teaching field. And here I am now, working graveyard in a call center company... Making lesson plans, test questions, evaluation sheets and the like are no longer in my senses.. And now am starting to be afraid...afraid that am learning to love my current job more than the one should be devoting my time with... the job I spent 4 years of sleepless nights in college just to be equipped with. Life is really isn't that simple.

My job is not related to my studies. I studied Information technology but my job is a photographer. My job came with no choice because the cost of living is freaking high. The prices of taxes, goods, products increase dramatically which I believe with my current salary, I may unable to afford to buy things. I agree with you that life is really isn't simple. Life is like a test of our endurance to hardship. However, I have taken an optimistic look on my life. Cheers

I think that, in the end, you should be doing what you won't regret doing, or not doing. If you look back in 100 years at what you've been spending your sleepless nights to do, and you're not happy, then maybe that's not the job for you. If you think you'll look back at this time and feel satisfied and accomplished, then this maybe the perfect job for you. I think it's all about regret, and not having any. So even though you may be working hard now, if it'll give you life satisfaction and you can truly say that you've spent your time well, then I say keep doing what you're doing.

My job is in no way related to my educational attainment but I would say my home life is in some sense . When I was younger I wanted to work with children everyday and either be a teacher or someone who taught in a daycare facility or work with children who had learning difficulties . I don't do this as my job but in my home life I now have five children who I can help each day with all there problems they have in life and try to make things a little easier for them ay explaining why we need to be able to do certain things in life like get an education . If you are starting to love the job you have now then you could look at this as a good thing . Many people are not fortuante to have something that they enjoy doing everyday and even if it is not what you studied so hard to do at least you had the experience and it never hurts to have a little more in your life to fall back on if need be .

I graduated bs pschology and also finished by professional education and currently working as a customer service offecier of a telecommunications company here and i can say its related with my course. I handle people and serve them. I know when I grow older i'd look for a kind of job that I really love doing and its teaching. i plan to enroll special education so i can handle special children.

ya ur opinion is really correct because there is no relation ship between our education what we studied and our job what we r doing now so at child my dream is abt to become a pilot but now i am working in software company so depending up on us dreams will also be changed so there is a chance for us to dream but we cant go through that one in ur present life what u r doing now we should not be wait to get my dreams become success
