cats are always blamed for causing asthma and other breathing problems in humans. but little do we know that us, humans, can trigger asthma attacks in cats, according to a hospital in scotland.
1 out of 200 cats suffer from feline asthma with wheezing, coughing and shortness of breath as its symptoms. those between the ages 1-5 are more likely to develop such condition.
it is said that cigarette smoke, human dandruff and household dust cause inflammation to their lungs. and a verterinarian mentioned that this situation is increasing as more cat owners keep their cats solely indoors.
to all cat owners and cat lovers, including those with asthma, what do you think about this?

It never crossed my mind that humans can cause asthma in their pets. I have never encountered this problem yet because for one, there are no smokers in the house; second, our pets are not kept solely indoors as they are free to roam around and thirdly, dandruff is not tolerated among us, it is too much to bear, hence we treat it immediately with nizoral.
