I was watching TV with my husband this evening, and they were showing a car factory, and how they put together the interior and exterior of the car, and it got me thinking about the people that put all the pieces together, like the flooring, the steel, and painting the cars, and so forth, if they liked what they do. They spend their days doing hard physical labor and it has to be precise and if their is any defects, a person's life could be at risk. I wondered if they make good money, if they have benefits, and if perhaps, they have a Union. That got me thinking about if I had to work there, if I would also like such a job. Do you like your job? (And this includes all stay at home moms too). Personally, I have had some good, and some OK jobs, right now, working for my husband, in his business, is not all that it's cracked up to be, it is very hard working for ourselves, and stressful. Well, as they say, "no pain, no gain," so I guess we just have to keep working until it becomes more stable.

I'm a stay at home mom. I love my job. The pay is not too good though lol. If you know what I mean. But it's all worth it. I love spending my time with my daughter and my friends and family. I'm also a part time writer on the side, so that is also a rewarding aspect of my life. I don't know about the "no pain, no gain," theory, but I love doing what I do.
There was one job that I really didn't enjoy and that was working for a clothing store and it was really horrible. They were rude and mean, and at the end of the day, I just didn't want to deal with them anymore.

I'm a part time waitress, a wife and a mother. I love all of my jobs but being a mother is my favorite. :)
There are times I don't enjoy being a waitress....like when a cook fails to read special instructions on an order. LOL For the most part I just love taking care of people.

That is very nice. In general, I do too (which I think my hubby takes advantage of, lol). Don't you hate when customers blame the server and it is the cook's fault? They can be really dense sometimes.

No, I don't like my job. I work in an office, my work is repetetive, boring and not creative, so I have a lot of hobbies, my favourite hobby is to paint and to draw.
In Italy, the country where I live, it's very difficult to find a job, I won a competitive examination and I got the job, but I don't like it at all.

I have done so many different things and the first one was lawn care n florida for 13 years we owned it and i worked in the field and did the bookwork. Was a lot of work and very hot in the summertime. Was well worth what we got out of it. Now I work for Pella windows and have been for five years. Make a window from the glass to the whole window in the frame. Really interesting to see it done. Factories really can be interesting work to learn.

I love my jobs. I am a CPA and I just love numbers. People think I'm crazy because I like to do tax returns.
My husband and I also have a home-business that we love too. Since my husband hates his job, he will be quitting that to do our home-business fulltime.

I like my job very much.I have been working for quite some time there. I have enjoyed the work atmosphere and all the people there. I also get a handsome salary apart from other benefits. I am interested in the wide scope my job offers to me. It is very competitive between the employees which leads to better results.

My job, though most people do not think it is a job, is being a Stay At Home Mom to my 6 month old son. I love the job. I get to see him with every new thing he does. It's a full time job taking care of him and the house both.

Auto makers usually make great money and have many benefits. I know some that have made over $100,000 a year with overtime. I worked in a factory for over 20 years. It can be hard physical labor. And many factory jobs do take skills and brains.
I am trying to work at home myself. It is something that I like to do but takes a long time to learn to do well. I think that is the key. If you are working at something you enjoy and like to do, you will persist until you get it working. If you are trying to work at something that you really don't like but you are only in it for the money, it will be much harder to succeed.
The saying "no pain, no gain" is really silly. Why would you want to do something that gives you pain? Just because you "get" pained by doing something doesn't mean you gain anything except maybe soreness(aches or a headache). The idea is to work without pain(physical and mental) because you are enjoying what you are doing and if you persist, you will be rewarded. By using that saying, you are telling yourself that you have to experience pain before you make any gains. This is another ridiculous saying that causes more mental harm than people know. Becoming successful does take work and persistence. And it takes a "yes" attitude every step of the way. Everytime you use the word "no" you are telling yourself it can't be done. Everytime you say "no gain", that is exactly what you receive.
