If you do pray, how often. I pray at least once a day. To whom do you pray? I pray to God. Some people pray to saints, others to various different Gods. My day would not be complete without a prayer. What do you pray for? Some people only pray in moments of desperation, others never. What about you?

I pray to several gods and goddesses, and I essentially pray all day long. I always feel like I am in connection with my gods, and the things I say to them on a daily basis are pretty much like what you would say to a parent or a friend.
On holidays or special occasions I am a little more formal, but otherwise this is what my spiritual life is like.

Yes, I do personally believe there are many gods. I am pagan, more specifically what is commonly called a Celtic Reconstructionist. I learned my religion originally from my great-grandmother, though since she passed on, I have done my own research. The religion I follow originally existed in Britian and Ireland, before Christianity came there. There are some things in my religion that have been lost, it having been originally an oral tradition, hence the "Reconstructionist." Sometimes I have to piece together actual practices from historical sources, from what I learned from my great-grandmother, from similar practices in other cultures, and from personal revelation.
I do pray a lot, but the reason for it is because I see my gods as family or friends. How many times would you talk to your family members if they were with you all the time? If you could carry your best friend around in your pocket (not literally, it's just an analogy), how much would you have to say to them in a day?
Of course you have a problem understanding how I could believe in more than one god, since you believe in one (I'm assuming from the posts I've read by you). For me, it seems odd to believe in only one. It's like having only one friend, or one family member, or one confidante in your whole life to me. That doesn't mean I think poorly of you, or of your religion though. Tolerance and understanding are things that take work. =)

Usually once a day to God the Father. I pray for forgiveness, strength and for others. If I read scripture I pray for understanding first.

Sometimes at least I believe so, on occasion God has given me clear and undeniable instruction. I think probably he does all the time but I'm not a good listener

I am a Buddhist. I try to pray twice a day. Before I am going to work I like to pray, and meditate to make mind peaceful, so I think bout work clearly at least 5-10 minutes. I also pick up white follower and pray to the gods, Theravada, Indra and Buddha in the evenings in order to have a good dream and lottery number some time.

I pray every day. I pray to God. I pray about everything. I pray that he helps me get through every day and that I will be put under his will every day.

I pray often and i pray to God in the name of jesus !jesus said he is the only way to God read in John 14:6!so to pray to saints or even to Mary is to pray in vain!

I say Amen for that! Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man, the way, the truth and the life. Without him prayers are useless, it cannot reach the throne of God. Pray always in Jesus name!

I pray before meals and I try and do it every night before I go to bed. I pray to God, being thankful for various things such as my safe delivery through the day, my family, my friends. I ask for forgiveness at times and I often have requests to bring someone I know back to health or for help and guidance in a particular situation I'm in.

I pray before I jump from my bed in the morning thanking God for another day given to me, before every meal to thank God for the food I take, before I go out of the house for protection.I connot count how many times in a day i utter my prayers. Prayers con be done anywhere, not necessarily to kneel down or sit in a corner. We can pray while walking or while at work. We can pray silently, talk to God directly just talk to Him like a friend. I dont believe in saints, pray to him and he pray to God for you? There's only one mediator between God and man. He's Jesus Christ! Pray always in Jesus name. that's the most effective way of praying. God Bless You!!!
