Good colour scheme for African Lion Safari Layout

I've been stuck on this project for several months now. I can't decide what colour scheme to go for, and it seems every colour I try to put behind the pictures, to try and decide, none of them seem to work for me. It doesn't help that most of the pictures I took of my trip, were blurry, or had bad lighting. Any ideas of colours i can use for this layout? Or ways I can enhance bad photos? I really need to get past this road block so I can finish my summer '06 album!

that is so hard when you dont describe what the predominant colors are? If there are tan, brown, green in the pictures you could go draker or lighter with one of the main colors.

well the colours, hmm well the pictures are mostly of just the animals - monkeys, giraffes, elephants - so i guess mostly browns and greys. of course all the pictures i took were through a car window, so they all have bad lighting. When i try to put different greens or browns, or beiges behind the pictures, it just looks ugly to me. Im starting to believe i should just throw out the pictures, and not scrapbook them at all, except that i bought all these stickers to use in my layouts.
