Pet Names

I have two big dogs, mother and daughter. Molly and Betsy. Kind of old fashioned ladies names. They had them when we adopted them so we kept them. My cockatiel's name is Uly. I had named it Ulysses when I got it, Uly for short. A year later, it laid an egg. Ulysses was changed to Ulyssa. Doesn't matter, we call her Uly all the time. I used to have a white rabbit named Alice. My first dog was named Jinx. Mom says I was three and she asked me what his name should be. That's what I came up with. No idea where I got it from.

I have had so many dog sthat would take too long to list them all so I'll give you the names of the three I have right now. They are all chihuahuas Schatzie, Pepi (short for Pepito) and Princess.

I was just talking with a friend about this last night. He has several dogs and told me that each dog had to "earn" its name. One of his dogs is a Whippet-mix named "Bucket". He got his name because everytime they would play with him, he would fit his entire body into a 5-gallon bucket when he got tired and wanted to rest.

we had a dog named kisses, not because of the chocolate(as my mom thought), but because when she was a puppy, my cousin was holding her close to him, and lick him in the mouth just as he was openning them! we laughed out so loud when we saw my cousins reaction! hence the name kisses. ^_^

I currently have two dogs, Bella and Floyd. I used to have a greyhound named Jumper/ I've also had five cats, a pair of which were named Jay and Silent Bob. Another cat was named Smokey after Smokey Robinson, one was named Ox, referring to John Entwistle's nickname. The last cat was named Mo; I'm not really sure about that one. I've also had a fish named Moorhead--modified from my mother's friend's last name. That's pretty much it for my pets though.

My sister has two dogs, one named Chloe (a white husky-mix with blue eyes) and Aries (a barrel-shaped black dog). She lost a really lovable dog named Cooper last year, and a few years before that, lost Paco and Roxie, who were also big dogs. I'll never forget those dogs and liked Cooper the most. Don't ask me how my sister thought of those names, though.

My toy poodles name is Kissimi. She was a rescue, we got her when she was 7 mths. old, she new her name so we didn't change it. I think she was given the name after Kissimee St. Cloud Florida the amusement Park. The name suits her bacuase she's ALOT of FUN to be around.

I have two big dogs both over 80 pounds. The male came with the name Spirit. The female came at nine months old with the name Vega.He definitely has spirit and she is a baby monger
