anyone using gprs internet connection ?

is there anyone that using this type internet connection besides me ? if yes, where are you come from ? and what internet provider do you use ? are you using cellphone or gprs modem as device ? what is your average speed ? thankx

I'm not using it as my primary internet connection just use it sometime when stay away from my computer. to slow in here I just get 3kbps?? hahaha I will open mylot website in 10 minutes if I use that connetion.

hehehee, yes, gprs is just slowly, but if you only get 3kbps thats surely too slow, are you sure you get 3kbps or 3KBps ? bit or byte ? those two is totally different in speed.

yes i am using the gprs connection to use the internet. my providers name is Airtel the speed is 24kb for download modem connects at 921kbps what about you??

mmm my gprs connection looks faster than yours, I'm capable download up to 48 kbps, I'm using my cellphone as my modem.

Hi buddy,I live in India and use Airtel GPRS.It gives a descent speed of 20kbps.They have improved a lot in this coz previously the speed was around 5kbps.I think EDGE will be the solution to high speed internet.

Hi, i am from Indonesia and i was so staisfied with this kind of internet connection, because i just only pay for $32 and i get for unlimited internet connection, and that's why i love it, a few weeks ago i use the dial up connection and it was so expensive, for an hour i must pay for $12 even the speed it makes me upset, after searched on the internet finally i have found this kind of connection so thanks to my cellular provider, for the speed it is quite nice 48 KBps.
