What is the use of this star rating?

Mylot is giving star rating to its members. Ok! That is fine. But what is the use of this star rating? Is there any benefit for those who acquired this star rating. Are they giving any extra credits to those who acquired star rating?

I think the star ratings are based on how others find your posts, so it reflects your popularity in the community. So the more popular you are, the more you will be paid because your postings are rated good.

The star ratings are garbage.Unfortunately, if someone decides they do not like you or your posts in these groups, they attack your star rating like they are the NAZI'S or something! So, if you just agree to everyones opinion, you will be a 10, whereas if you are not liked for your opinion, then your rating will drop like mine. God forbid you are outspoken or tell it like it is, (your viewpoint) because the gangs they have on mylot are running rabid. good luck!
