when tamiya was booming it's sales in the market years back, my brothers love them. i am intrigued, too. they are cute little cars and are assembled by them as well. even they do have upgrades to maximize the speed of the car. it's really cute and amazing. but now, since tamiya cars are no longer loved by most, the tamiya cars my brothers had before are not in a collector's cabinet at home. but they still do look nice up there. reminding us the good old tamiya days.

Exactly! there was a golden era of Tamiya when i was young too.
Now, it's just going out of trend. But surely, Tamiya will launch amazing toy some time in the future. I don't know what the toys trend in Japan theseday?

tamiya is the best! we have 3 big rigs. The detail is amazing along with the functionality. I want the tamiya tundra high lift!

Tamiya is great! I love their models and supplies. When I buy paints and supplies Tamiya is what I look at first. Their products cost a little more but are well worth it.
