The Bulls are like the Bears. They're fortunate enough to be in a region in which most of the other teams suck. The East is awful, and the Bulls have as good a shot as any as representing the East in the finals. But, they're nowhere near good enough to beat the big dogs in the west, much like the Bears didn't have a prayer to be any good teams in the AFC.

Now they are being down by 2 - 0 against the mighty and improved Detroit Pistons. I don't think they have much chance to beat their rival in 7 game series knowing that Pistons is much powerful now that they have Chris Webber who is more offensive treat than Big Ben.
The were being lucky that Wade was not healthy when they encountered the Miami Heat in the first round. Could had been Wade was himself like last season, I think the Chicago Bulls would had an early vacation. Their team has lack of legitimate players to stand with tougher teams like what they are facing right now.

for this season, i dont think chicago is a legitimate contender. when ben wallace came to the team in the offseason, i really thought they're the team to beat in the east, but it seems nothing have really changed. they're just another ordinary team in the league. as long as the pistons and the cavs dominate the east, chicago would just fall in the playoffs
