well iam a vegetarian basically. i have heard that people who eat meat wil l be more stronger than vegetarians. it seems they will have the cpacity to work hard. whereas vegetarians will get that much of energy . infact i have seen it in my own experience. my husband's relatives eat meat and my relatives do not eat meat. thos ewho eat meat get tired less easily. whereas we get tired very easlily. is it because we do not eat meat?? but iam happy being a vegetarian and i hate to eat meat .

I don't know if there is any study on the subject. In my opinion from what I have seen though, meet eaters are the stronger people. I saw a couple on tv that ate nothing but tofo and that kind of stuff. I'll admit they did not look their age, they looked about 10 yars younger. They also kind of looked like they could be blown over by a soft breeze and almost like weak skeletons. They didn't look like they could do much.

well i too feel the same..pure veg eaters maybe quite out of many diseases ...especially they can post pne BP, heart problems...but i think they r also quite weak. whereas meat eaters r strong but they also carry with them many health problems.....

I do not think so....there are so many reasons behind good health--- 1. heredity 2. balanced diet 3. Daily Exercise 4. Tension free life veg and non-veg doesn't matters....

No, if you eat the right combo of carbs and COMPLETE proteins and recieve enought B12 and iron you should be fine. It's when you don't have balanced diet with enough nutrition that you runinto problems

btu these days i feeel there is no eanugh nutrition in vegetarian foods. also they r adding soo much of chemicals that natural food is becoming less nutritious and more toxic.

Meat eaters are definitely stronger than vegetarians because meat eaters get a lot of protien which is an essential nutrient in building muscles and strenght. Vegetarians shoud supplement their diet by taking protien supplements or eating meat substitutes such as tofu which is rich in protien.

vegetarians are equally strong as non vegetarians. the type of diet has got nothing to do with strength. i am a vegetarian as well and i can work for at least 16 hrs in a day without rest and my work involves lots of physical work.

it definitely makes different, the novegeterians hv more energy and streght....may be because the few nutrients like B comples u get from nonveg direcly...where as u hv to make combination of pulses and grain n veges to get it through vegeterian food.....so there r such things which affect...so its obvious tht nonvegetrrians are strong,

it is true because it is fact that in non veg item such fish, meat and chicken are more callories and vitamins then vegetables items. secondly i am not agree with you that non-veg. eaters gets tired immediately. see all the europeans do not you think that they are physically strong then indians. it is totally climatic condition.

Yes well we do need a certain amount of meat, but I prefer chicken or fish, I understand what you are saying and you need a certain amount of meat to build up your blood stream, for that to work correctly, so that your blood circulates properly. I do not eat that much meat though maybe only once every 2 weeks.

i dont think so . everywhere around the world peole eat non-veg only. infact when i was in china i saw that all of them eat beef and pork. but they live very long . beef and pork form very important part of their diet.

non-veg eaters will be physically stronger than veg eaters? Some would say that making this great sacrifice helps to advance spiritual progress, and I agree with this. However, the spiritual progress for one man or woman will not be the same for another. Can spiritual progress be made while eating meat? Most definitely. Can enlightenment be achieved while eating meat? Most definitely. Can all people progress this way? No... not at all. For each being - as it is an illusion of an individual - there is a "combination" of sorts to shake loose this illusion. If eating meat causes you to lose sight of your spiritual goals, then by all means... become a vegetarian. But if you can have meat (of course, not in excess) in your diet and feel spiritually progressive, then continue on the path that leads you in the right direction.
