hey all, so now Windows Vista the new operating system produced my Microsoft is out. I know most people wont have it yet because it's still new and fresh especially with the price, its not cheap the ultimate versio n is at $751 and most people wont pay that much just for an operating system. People are complaining that it has a couple of bugs and has heaps of compatible problems with applications and drivers etc.
So what are your thoughts of it?

yes vista is the most expensive that one can't pay for just a operating system other the driver problem and the requirments are so high that when someone buy the vista he should have to upgrade his system first

Yea the requirements are high but you can still put the basic version on which mostly works on all computers, most not all, i tested windows vista without entering a key on my computer and it was perfect so soon Im going to buy it, and trust me its good.

i agree with lebanon4life because you should get a cd for the drivers because then you will have to buy the drivers for windows vista

i think that vista should be returned and be fixed so theirs no bugs or viruses on it. and know people have printers videos cad and etc the driver of these are not for vista and when u buy vista for $400 dollars then you have to by a printer for the driver can be 95/98/2000/XP/Vista. so i think of vista should be fixed up.

I have Vista Ultimate running on ma box.......n I am having no probs........my PC is 3 yrs old.....I didn't have to buy a new one also..........
well, we all know MS is a big SoaB.....who steals ideas from others.......da Mahjong game in dere is original of Linux.......n da Flip 3D feature that they are using is a cheap imitation of Mac OS X Leopard's Timeline feature.........
Really.......u can try Vista........but it is better to wait until 2011-12, a new OS of MS is coming.....not too sure abt itz name, maybe Blackhill.......it is sure to be better dan Vista which unnecessarily sucks up ur processor resources for rendering of Flip 3D..........
If u have any queries.....post them in "PC Tweaking" discussion started by me.......I'll be glad to help.............:)

Woow WIndows Vista.. what a hot subject i can say. I have talked a lot in my area with many of my friends and all of them had only positive thoughts about it. I can say that i was blow off by this new windows system. Some things certainly lack to it but this new look which Microsoft has incorporated in it certainly do the money you would give for it. I have waited this new system for 2 weeks and here i am using it. It was pretty hard for me to buy it because in my area it can't be found. So i had to ask a friend from another part of my country to order me. I am so happy using it and all i have are only words of gratitdue. I post here a short description about VISTA.
Windows Vista contains hundreds of new features; some of the most significant include an updated graphical user interface (GUI) and visual style dubbed Windows Aero, improved searching features, new multimedia creation tools such as Windows DVD Maker, and completely redesigned networking, audio, print, and display sub-systems. Vista also aims to increase the level of communication between machines on a home network using peer-to-peer technology, making it easier to share files and digital media between computers and devices. For developers, Vista includes version 3.0 of the .NET Framework out of the box. The .Net Framework makes it significantly easier for developers to write high-quality applications than with the traditional Windows API.
