do you mind if your mother in law decides whats good for your son?

My mother in law always tells me what to do with my son. At first I really dont mind at all coz im a first time mom. But as time passes by im starting to be annoyed, her- always tellin me what to do. Out of respect for her i just follow what she says but deep inside me, im starting to get annoyed of her.
should i feel this way? what is the right thing to do in this situation?
