Advice for a Canadian wanting to move to England?

Hello, I was hoping someone from this board could give some advice about moving to England. I'm from Canada, always wanted to live in Britain, and currently looking into career opportunities. Any advice on cost of living and the nicest areas to live?

I am not sure if you mean this or otherwise are posting - There are plenty of opportunities, and loads of nice places to live. But I am getting a bit confused, you are from China, saying you live in Canada and are moving to the UK. Please clarify.
