Be Honest, Do You Love/Like The Color Of Your Skin?

People never seem to be happy with what they have- curly haired girls want straight hair and visa versa. I have fairly pale skin and often wish that my skin was darker. I think darker skin makes a person look exotic! Everytime I try to tan I burn very badly. Infact, I once scabbed and bled when I spent too much time in the sun, I didn't figure that was a good sign.

I am fine with mine, not too dark , not too white... but that doesn't matter I guess

I cant believe what I am reading!!! tan and brown skin is the best skin color of all. I am white, and I do not like the color of my skin. I wish for brown skin... the deep brown hides most blemishes, hides when you are embarrassed and your face blushes red. It also looks alive and adventurous. us white people always want to get a tan. The brown skin gives black hair a special beauty also, and the contrast to certain clothing is so wonderful. Us silly humans - we only want what we dont have... ;)

I am a Filipina and I have a brown color of my skin also. Sometimes I want to have a whiter skin and like you I also buy whitening products. So sad, why we strive to become white when our skin is brown. Maybe it is because guys want women who are white. And it is our concept that if you are white then you are pretty. I hope that we learn to appreciate brown as pretty.

eh......i get really dark sometimes. im mixed, u know white and black and i dont like the way that i tan so quick when im only in the sun for a little bit. i have weird skin sometimes, like on my legs and my hands, i get purple dots when im cold, and my cheeks get red when im embarassed/hot, i can see the veins in my skin and i think its weird bc, like the other black people i know none of this happens to them, but it happens to all the white people i know...wow, thats weird.

Oh, I love my skin! No matter what color it is. I am very grateful of it. It never causes any problem, no acne nor darkspots and I dont care with the color. Yes I love the color and I dont use whitening products, just moisturizer with SPF to protect from UV. That's all :)

I love the colour of my skin. I'm not very fair but a little on the light brown side. I take good care of my skin and I wouldn't change a thing about it:)

I like almost all color. But I think I like red the most and I dont know the reason. Maybe it just fits my character. I'm not really brave though or maybe I just want to be brave:P Of course I dont want red skin..I like the color now.

yeah I like my skin color fine. I'm not to pale my skin color is tan on my arms now my legs I need more color I am to white there. If I could get my weight or my stomach down and my flabby legs toned I would be happy. I think every one sees something wrong with their selfs.

i love the color of my skin maybe because im fair as what filipinas like us would like to have. but if i had the same color of skin like you i guess it wouldn't matter either to me. what matters is the person beneath the skin. :) and did you know that you are most protected by the UV rays of the sun because of the color of your skin? you have more melanin that would help you prevent some types of skin cancer.

To be honest, I would like to have a lighter complexion. But since I was born like this, I am happy the way I am. I don't buy any whitening products or to lighten my skin. I don't even wear sunblock.
