Its simply amazing how the mother-daughter equation is portrayed on gilmore girls. The way loralai adores her daughter, and the splendid camaraderie between them makes you want to share the same kinda relationship with your mother or daughter...dont you agree?

i love the gilmore girls. i really relate to that show. i have the same type of relationship with my mother that loralei has with her mother emily. and now i have a 3 year old daughter and i wish to have the same type of relationship that loralei and rory have. i know i need to be a mother first but i also want to be best friends with my daughter.

That's nice to hear...girls are really adorable! You can be a mother where she needs to be mothered and be her friend when she needs one!

it takes two to tango. If you think your mother or daughter is receptive enough of affection, then maybe bonding with either of them will make you feel like the gilmore girls. I mean they're two people who have to go through a lot and without each other, it would be hard for them both. It just goes to show that love grows deep and strong when there's not much around.

my mother and myself are like that. after i got married and had a kid things for us just turned like that. it is great to be able to call my mom and just chat with her. I love every moment of it. I think it is great that they are showing that there is more to a mother daughter realtionship... there also can be friendship. i am going to raise my daughter the same way. I will be the one who is a mom till i see she is ready to fly the coop.

I love the relationship that they have! I want that for me and my girls. For the most part, we do have that, but there are a few things that I know they don't tell me! lol! But that's okay... they don't have to tell me everything!

My mother and I are very close. We are like best friends even now. My daughter however, is a daddy's girl. Her and her dad are like two peas in a pod. They like a lot of the same things and he doesn't make her eat her veggies.

its beautiful to share such a relationship with ur daughter..my daughter is 2+...when i watch gilmore girls,i love to hum the song with my daughter in my arms hope that we too share the same relationship...she really likes the song or hugs i dont know, but she smiles when the song starts, might be thinking that her mother has gone crazy or what...
