Your washing machine starts playing up, so you order a new one and then your old one goes back to being on it's best behaviour! Ours has done exactly that! Just recently our washine machine has been playing up, the other day it was refusing to fill up with water. So after much investigation and still being none the wiser I decided to give it a swift kick several times! This seemed to do the trick .......... lol Everything was going fine, it was working through the wash program without a hitch, then suddenly stopped! Time for another kick I thought, so I kicked it, until it commenced on with the rest of the program. The rest of the evening it was still acting up, so I decided to order a new washing machine from the catalogue. Ever since I ordered a new one, our old one has been going through it's programs without any problems! The new washing machine arrived yesterday too, typical! lol

I have a vacuum cleaner that will not pick up dirt if it is cleaned out. I have to put some kitty litter in the new bag so it will pick up again!

How bizzare! Perhaps the vacum bags like to be weighted down a little.

Well as you now have two - maybe I can use one of yours! LOL! As mine went wrong last week, and I'm told it will take another 10 days to fix! Problem is, when the Engineer came out last week to fix it, he said he needed to order a spare part, and that would take 2 weeks to arrive from the factory. It is still under guarantee (only 7 moths old), so won't cost me anything, but it's a real pain having to handwash stuff. My neighbour has said I can use hers, and I went in yesterday to wash the big stuff like shets, duvet covers etc., butI feel it is too much of an imposition on her to go in every day with underwear, and work cothes, so I can't wait for mine to be fixed!

Ohh .. isn't that typical .. still if the original washing machine was quite old it could stop again any time .. and the new washing machine will have newer technology so probably wash much better .. and with all the new energy saving and water conservation I'm sure it will be saving you money too .. bet it will be quieter too .. Good luck for some blissfully easy wash days ..
