I have had a yellow party hat once in 2003 it costed few mills back then. But now the prices are crazy! Blue p hat is like 500m+ at the moment. It takes years to earn that cash :S I wish id have a party hat , I bet all of the rs players wish for that :D. I earn my mone with staking and player killing.

They are very hard to get unless if you have good stats, or if you are good at luring, staking, or merchanting. My brother had a blue party hat in RSC but it was only when it was 1m. He was lucky to trade full rune for it, but then he later sold it before it was worth as much as it is now. I don't have enough money for one, I wish i did. I make most of my money by merchanting.

Hard to get? They don't even drop them anymore! Nowadays you can only buy them. It is over 10 milion for a party hat! I wouldn't even waste my time on those rare drop items anymore. They just a waste of money, even though they keep on getting higher every day. Its just a waste of money yo!

Oh its ways over 10 mil now just for a santa hat. I think that jagex is unfair because pretty much if you played a long time ago you could become rich. A long time ago they had them for holiday drops. Now the price went up so the people that saved theirs are very lucky. I think jagex should at least make the holiday drops and random event objects trabable. That would become so much funner. I mean its people's choice if they want to trade them or not, and if they get them scammed then thats their fault for not watching out for them. So jagex should just make them tradable and let the players deal with it the way they want to. Also, how come party hats went up to such a high price? People back then made the price go up thats why. The party hats didn't have like a special defence effect or anything they just looked good. The shops and high alching them made it 1 gp each. Why did the prices go up so much then? Thats one thing people did back then. The santa hats and other objects never went up to such a high price. Thats what i think is unfair.

Partyhats are very expensive items. I myself have a White one, which are the second most expensive, at around 300 Million Coins or more. I want to get a Blue one (up to 500Mil coins) eventually, I have around 300 million coins so far.

I have blue, white and yellow phats. they look cool with some outfits ^^ the best way to get cash to buy one is by staking.

I think they are hard, especially if you sell one accedentally to a store and get 1 gp :( :( :( :(, Juuuust kiddding!! lol, but you do get 1 gp , and 0 gp if you high alch :P. anyway, I think they are just for showing off, I dont like them.
