UP Fighting Maroons is the varsity team name of the University of the Philippines. Yeah, they are not limited to basketball. They have players from sports such as chess, martial arts of different types, voleyball, swimming, basketball, and other sports. The UP Fighting maroons players are students too who ran from one class to another, sit through a different classes (boring or lively), and experiences passing and failing grades, hehehe...

sorry if ill have to be biased but am a upian so i shoud stand by my being a upian!hahahahaha well UP maroons are as well practiced as the other teams, and definitely not well supported by the university (financially) when compared to other private universities, but these guy who are playing the team arent just guys on th ecourt, these are brilliant minded people who knows a lot than basketball. Bt i didnt mean to say they are no good players, because they actually know how ro do their thing! :)

I agree, I had classmates before who are part of our varsity team, they really know more than just the sport they play.

Well have been cheering for the men's basketball team since first year in college. Too bad I've missed out on the games last UAAP season. Maybe you've been watching Bruce on Pinoy Big Brother? Hehehe :)
