Mine is a yorkshire terrier calledToffee, it's not so small as they commonly are, that's why I like him more.

staffordshire terriers and pit bulls are not the same breed, look it up. pit bulls are a newer breed(ie 200 years old) and staffies are a vary old breed. staffies are from the uk and pit bulld wre created in the usa hint the name american pit bull terrier

I love so many dogs. I want a Bernese Mountain dog as my next pet. Right now we have 4 dogs, 2 german shepherds (my husband's favorite breed) and 2 mutts. To be honest, I actually prefer mutts! It really doens't matter the breed, to me... I do prefer dogs over 50 pounds -the bigger the better, but other than that, I'll take any concoction.

i work at a doggy day care so i've gotten to know many breeds. remember, this is all personal preference. i love some breeds that other people cant stand and i dislike some breeds that other people love. that being said... boston terriers and french bulldogs are my favorite breeds. i just love everything about their personalities and the way they look. they are little clowns and always make me laugh. i'm mostly familiar with boston terriers since i am owned by two. they are really expressive and i always know when one of mine has done something wrong because the guilt is written all over their face. frenchies sound like aliens when they bark! both are like large breed dogs in a small breed body. they are not prissy and yappy like most little dogs. least favorite breeds would have to be labs and weimaraners. labs are just so common. most (i'm talking like 95%) of them bark constantly and those ones are really annoying. i dont mind play barking or whatever, but the ones at my work just stand around and bark non stop at nothing! they just love the sound of their own voice. their owners will send bark collars with them and they would rather be shocked than stop barking. they play too rough and cause a lot of fights. out of like 50 labs, i've only met 3 or 4 that i would want to steal from their owners. weimaraners are PSYCHO! every single one i've met is crazy. i hope they are different at home than the way they are at daycare because i dont know how people can live with them. they bark more than the labs, and they are so paranoid! i've been bit by them so many times cause they freak out over every little thing. i try to calm them down, talking softly to them and being very gentle, hoping that it will rub off on them and they'll chill out, but then they rear up on their back legs and scratch me in the face with their massive nails! out of no less than 10 that i've met, i've liked none! i think they are beautiful dogs and i love their coat and eye color, but geez... not worth it! runner up favorite breeds: great danes (big dogs that think they are tiny... they try to sit on your lap!), cavalier king charles spaniels (super sweet and calm), elkhounds (also super sweet), pugs (sort of similar to bostons, but lazier... they are like little blobs with fur) and surprisingly, standard poodles (i think they look ridiculous, but as far as personalities go, they are pretty cool) runner up least favorite breeds: golden retriever (for similar reasons as the lab, but only about half of them are like that. the other half are great!), LABRADOODLES (omg, the barking!), german shepards (have caused more injuries to other dogs at work than any other breed), beagles (have the most annoying bark i've ever heard and they tend to bark non stop)
