Was the upgrade an easy one? did you loose any functionality or files? Are you liking windows vista? How many of you actually went back to XP? I am looking to upgrade but I do not want to loose any of my files or functionality, so your opinions are greatly needed and appreciated. Thanks

i haven't upgraded to windows vista yet because its cost is pretty high. but as far as i know, windows vista is facing problems in compatibility, drivers. this problems will be solved in coming months. i'll suggest you to wait for couple of months. listen to the windows vista users and then take this chance to upgrade.
i've a genuine windows xp home. and right now i can't afford to buy a genuine windows vista cd. i'll suggest you to wait for couple of months. because prices will fall down and the problems related to compatibility and drivers will hopefully reduce. so best of luck.

As a computer technician, i dont think upgrading to windows vista as of the moment will be an advantage...a lot of compatibility issues are being raised by our customers..there are also some issues that cannot be resolved immediately because it will require updates from the hardware manufacturer which is not readily available at present
