Who do you think are REAL heroes?

my heroes are (1)the stay-at-home mothers who are professionals but chose to take care of the family so that their children would have a better life (2)the working mothers who could not stay at home due to financial constraints and want their children to have a better life (3) fathers who work their hearts out so that their family would not lack in anything (4) ordinary people making extraordinary acts for other ordinary people

All the heroes mentioned in the cartoon Higglytown Heroes!!! Parents who watch Disney Playhouse channel would know what I am talking about hehe.

Parents - anybody's parents are heroes for bringing us all here on earth. All good deeds done to us by others, we owe it not only to them but to their parents as well for bringing them here on earth, much more for raising good people like them. We owe it to the parents of our heroes for giving us heroes.

Real Heroes? There are a lot, common people that have put their life on the line to save another. we have a lot of Filipinos who can have the title of hero. A hero does not need to be recognized by everyone, given accolades, just a mere thank you will suffice and that is a mark of a real hero. In a small family, a mother or a father fits the bill of here, as personal wants are put to the side for the sake of the children.

i believe that national heroes should include the OFWs, especially those who are sacrificing for their families. it is not easy being away from your family, the more that they are living in a foreign country where there is no one for them to run to in times of sickness. VOLUNTEERS for the POOR should also be included. these are the people who would do anything to help other people without expecting much or anything in return. TEACHERS, they get to spend hours and hours standing, talking and teaching their students but the compensation they get is just enough for their everyday expenses.

A hero is the common man/woman that takes the extra job to feed their children. Its the garbage man that picks up your trash so that you won't have to live in filth. It's the person who thought enough to drive you up the street so that you don't have to walk far or hold an unbrella over your head in the rain. The person who give you a blanket so that you won't freeze, or a sip of water to quinch your thirst. A hero is anyone that touches your life in a small or big way when they could have left you there without a care in their hearts but instead they showed you that you are a human and are worhth more than you could ever know.
