I am interesting science-fiction and special effects of the film.It is a exciting movies without violence, blood,or fear.Star Wars did not pretend to know all about the future of humanity, unlike many other scienc-fiction movies,it did not claim to be scientifically correct while presenting situations that would be scientifically impossible.

A successful movie for me:
hiring great actors/actresses and not celebrities
great script
having a great plot where everyone can relate to even if it's futuristic or fantasy
no loopholes in the sequence of events
If the movie is from a book make sure to live by it's core rules
Offer something out of the ordinary
A deep, twisted yet well laid out plot
Giving it and ending... yet an ending that will make them think there's a possible sequel.

There are so many successful factor for a movies.Which will it lead movies success? All?some?
About Star wars, first,it could not be the actors, who were not well known before, and they didnot have a chance to display their talent, because the story was too shallow to reuqire much acting.Senond, the story is simple, the old saying,Good and Evil with a happy ending.
that is my opinion.

Star Wars had a huge success because every kid on the planet watched it 12 times.
In reality... from an adult point of view... it was just another good movie. But watching it 3 times was about all I could handle.
A good movie need a good story to start with... and it has to flow from beginning to end.
Many bad movies have the story going nowhere once you reach the middle of the movie... like the writer has run out of ideas and don't know what to do next.
Next you need good actors... and the leading actor needs to be a likeable character that people fall in love with almost instantly. That is when you get your Blockbuster.
Those actors who get paid 20 million dollars a movie... get paid that sort of money because people love to see them in movies... Give those actors a good story... and you have a blockbuster on your hands.
However... the Academy don't go for blockbusters... nor does many people. There are people who like a movie which make them think and motivate their brain. Everyone is different... and luckily... there is something for everyone out there.

About actor/actress,in Star Wars, most of them are not well known before.Famouse movie star is paid a big money, because they are well known. Before that, they will act a role in a successful movies, and people like him/her and will follow they in the next movies.

I think the most important factor in a movie's success is the storyline. The story should be good enough to capture public interest.then comes the performances of actors.
