...... sorry this is a bit impersonal but it's a lot quicker than sending separate Private Messages! It's just to let you know that I have just found out I'm being sent into a new department at work as of Monday. Just on a 2 month contract there before returning to my usual job. The hours are much longer though, so I won't be here quite so much as usual, and I wanted you to all bear with me if it takes a while to answer all your discussions. I promise I will check my emails every day, and do as much as I can at week-ends to catch up, but I'll be starting work at 6.30am every day now:-(( So I am going to be knackered (to use one of those great Brit phrases that CremeCheese loves so much! LOL!) Amyway - this is not goodbye - I'll still be here at some stage every day - but please don't think I've deserted you if it takes me a while to answer all your topics!
And - in answer to your obvious question - yes - they are paying me very well to do ot - that's why I said yes!

Oh no Rosie- I will miss you so much!!!! It won't be the same with out you popping in and out of my discussions and me sometimes trying to keep up with you to answer...LOL. Well I hope things work out and look at it this way, you will have extra money to maybe take in a quick vacation or as you Brits say take a holiday, when it's all over!! Catch you later!!!

Awww - don't worry - I'm not going! If I get the chance to pop in here at lunchtimes, and maybe for an hour in the evening, I will do! And as for the holiday - it is my Birthday in the first week in May, and the contract ends the week before - so we will defnately be taking one!

I know I speak for everyone when I say that you will be well missed and glad to hear you are not disappearing totally! Good luck with your contract, I sincerely hope it works out for you! Thanks for letting us know, all the best my friend, as long as you are ok and well that is the main thing I'll try not to give you too many discussions to catch up on LOL. Kind regards *wolfie*

Thanks. I will really do what I can, but I know the work will be high-pressured for that 2 months, and during the week I will either be working or exhausted! I'll do my best though!

yep. that's so right wolfie! we will miss rosie. but it's for her own good so go girl! atleast, you get another promotion. and you deserve it. and as wolfie had mentioned, atleast you are not disappearing totally. so, good luck and work well. see you around!

Hey that is GREAT rosie. (Oops i see this discussion is one month old.. but is it ever too late to say - CONGRATS ?) SO, congrats for a better pay dear friend..and as you must've realised you just get used to the long(er) hours , if at the end of the day you are satisfied with the pay. Good luck !

Thanks Jo. I am definately earning much less here at MyLot because I just can't be here long enough to post as much as I used to:-(( But of course the pay in my "real" job definately makes up for it. I just wish i wasn't quite so tired all the time. It is 8.30pm here now, and I'm already falling asleep, and need to go to bed!

That's such great news for you, Rosie!! I really hope that you'll still continue to start great topics here, though. You really do start some of my most favorite topics on the site, and I would really miss having them to reply to. Don't worry about replying to my discussions, if it keeps you from having time to post. I can always think up more discussions to start on my own, but finding really top notch ones to reply to like your topics are can be daunting some days, lol! So please keep posting! We'll miss having you around as much, but I know that it's for a good cause! ^_^

go and get it rosie! you are doing a great job that's why they gave you a better job... and i have it as a promotion. am i right? so, work on it. and if you have time, log in to mylot and spend a little time here, too. but as always, give your attention first at the job you have. we will understand. so, don't worry about it. good luck and have a nice day at work!
