Water is an important structural component of skin cartilage, tissues and organs. Our Body is composed of 75% water, brain has 85% water, blood has 90% water, kidney is 82%, muscles are 72%, bones are 22% water. The functions of our glands will eventually deteriorate if they are not nourished with good and clean water. The average adult loses 2.5 liters water everday due to perspiration, breathing and elimination. Symptoms of body's deterioration begins to appear when the body loses 5% of the total volume of its water. IN a healthy adult this is seen as a fatigue and general disorder, whereas in an infant, it can be dehydrating. In an elderly person a 5% water loss in the body causes the body chemistry to become abnormal, especially if the percentage of the electrolytes becomes abnormal with sodium. One can usually see symptoms of agings such as wrinkles, lethargy and even disorientation. COntinuous water loss will speed up aging as well as increase the risk of diseases. If your body is not sufficiently hydrated, the cells will draw water from your bloddstream, which will mae your heart work harder. At the same time, kidney cannot purify the blood effectively. When this happens, some of the kidneys' workload is passed on to liver and other organs, which may cause them to be severlry stressed. Additionally, you may develop a number of minor health conditions, such as constipation, dry and itchy skin, nosebleeding, urinary tracts infection and coughing and many more.
