i used to hate people who weren't practicing their right to vote. i feel that they dont have the right to complaint because they didn't vote anyway. but with how politics is going right now here in the Philippines, with all the "Hello Garci" thing during elections. do you think our vote still counts? are you still eager to sign-up that ballot and get your finger tainted with ink?

i already missed the past 3 or 4 elections since i was always out of the country during election time. i feel that not having voted also took my right to comment/complain about politics and national issues. so having said that, i look forward to voting this coming may elections. i still feel that i need to exercise my right to vote. and i would like to make sure that no one votes under my name.

Yes, I would still exercise my right to vote. If everyone of us thinks that our vote won' matter anymore, that makes our politics even more bad because those who corrupts would rule the election.

Here comes election time again. I'm really not interested in voting those crappy politicians. They're just good during eelection time and gone after you've voted them.

I am not eager to vote. But I think my vote should still count for something, even if it only means that a person I don't like will get 1 vote less. LOL. Also, I'm afraid that if I don't vote, some unscrupulous person would make use of my name (since I'm registered) in voting for an undesirable candidate.

I just turned 18 last November, so this is the first election I'm entitled to actually participate in, so yes, I am voting. Although it is true that with all the political brouhaha in the country, the electoral process has become some kind of joke, I still think that it is worth a try to actually do something about it. Here's to hoping that this year's elections will have more people voting, taking chances and making changes. :)

I cannot blame you if you don't have the will to vote anymore. It is very much understandable after all its really frustrating for us filipinos. But i still believe that if we want some changes we still have to exercise our right to vote.

yes i would still vote, even if there are so many reasons not to. it's not just the single vote that matters, but the idea of voting because you still hope that a good thing will come out of it.
