I've read about Matabungkay Beach Resort. It is a beautiful place and the price is reasonable for the facilities they offer. Will be next on my travel list haha. Unfortunately though Singapore is rated as a clean and beautiful we don't have really beautiful beaches to be proud of. I'm ashamed to say that you can find considerable amount of litter at our popular East Coast beach. People in our country are not so environmentally conscious. :(

Well, for me, i was born with a sign of water so I guess I'm really fond of going to the beach!;)
I'm from Cavite, here in the Philippines and we have more access on going to some resorts and beaches. My greatest experience on the beach was when to went to an island in batangas, called Isla Verde. We rode a boat for about two hours with rough seas and enjoyed there a three days and night stay during the lenten season. It really was an exciting experience with my friends!;)

Yep, it's Lido beach. But it's now more more common to go there, so we always look for some other beaches were only a number of people knows.
The boat was really kind of scary, but also a very exciting experience!;)

i think no one wouldn't love to go to the beach, have fun and relax. especially when there are other more things to do like playing volleyballs, basketball, etc.

oh i can't wait for the summer to come. right now in Romania are aprox. 5-9 Celsius degrees which is pretty cold(very how for this time of the year because of global warming but still cold for beach). i kind of envy you because i still have to wait at least 3 months to be able to spend time on the beach and 4 to swim into the sea. anyway i'm glad at least some of you can enjoy your free time at the beach. maybe you have some pictures from your short trip to the beach? :))

I love going to the beach in the summer time. I envy you right now, we have several feet of snow and it's very very cold here in Michigan so no beach for many months yet.

I just love the beach and so does my kids. We are planning to go to the beach in two weeks time, in subic, philippines. Just love to sunbathe, i am very fair and eversine i was put a lot of tanning lotion and bask in the sun for hours when i was single. But now that i have kids i rarely have time to sunbathe, hahaha, it's mostly running around with the kids and fetching water and sand for them to make our castles. Hopefully that way i still get a tan while playing with my children.

I enjoy beaches so much, that I moved near one. I live in Clearwater, Florida.
I enjoy watching families having fun, seeing the ocean, & soaking up sunshine.

I love the beach. Where I live we have black sand but we have one man made one with yellow sand from some place overseas, one of our islands also have yellow sand. Most of our beaches however are full of small rocks, they tried taking the rocks away and adding black sand but the sea would just take the sand back and the stones would come back to their original place. It's said that the yellow sand of one of our islands is actually very good for you. Not sure if it's true or just a publicity stunt, was on our news. I love swimming but sometimes I get paranoid in the sea, I start imagining all sorts of stuff are in the water with me, I'm such a scary cat sometimes.
