What do you do to your meatballs? I have just adopted a new recipe because me children LOVE their uncle's meatballs, which I never thought that they would eat. It calls for chop meat, ground veal and ground pork, italian spices, chopped onions, eggs and bread crumbs. Mix it all well and shape your meatballs onto a cookie sheet and bake them in the oven. My youngest doesn't like them in sauce, but my older two do, so I leave them seperate. I just made a big batch (6 lbs) to freeze. They are in the oven now!

My meatballs are pretty simple. I usually combine ground beef and ground pork, and add in some parmensean cheese, some oregano, some sugar and some cumin. I like to give just a little bit of spice. If I'm really in the mood for something with a kick, I add in some dried chipotle flakes. nothing gives a smokey, mellow kick like chipotle.

My meatballs are similar to yours, except I don't often get the veal (just out of convenience - my local has beef and pork pre-ground but not veal) - baked in the oven and smothered in sauce, they're delicious! Mmm. now I'm hungry.
