I think women cry more than men because it is socially acceptable for us. Men are told it isn't good for to cry -so they keep it in more. It makes me more sad to see a man cry than a woman cry because if a man is crying, I know that it is really really bad.

I agree girls are more emtional than boys. I think it is harder for a boy to cry compared to a girl. Boys are taught from a young age to not cry, to suck it up, to hide any feelings of hurt they feel. To not let anyone see it. As it is not manly.

I think it is because boys are raised to be tough and not to show emotions very much. Little boys cry when they get hurt but when they grow into yound men, they think it is feminine to cry. Girls get their feelings hurt easily and usually the first thing they do is come to tears. I do any ways.

Yeah girls are very sensitive. so any uncomfortable situation or a novel experience of reality will affect a girl very soon that is very well showed as tears. It can reduce only by years of experience ..in the sense getting used to it.

That is true. Guys are taught to be tough and that crying is a sign of weakness, but girls are taught that it is ok to cry because it stops the pain. Girls also get more sympathy and attention when they cry, and so they fake cry to make people feel sorry for them when something bad happens. My sisters do this all the time so that I get in trouble for fighting with them. They aren't physically hurt, they just know that my dad will yell at me if he thinks I have hurt them, so they get me in trouble by pretending to cry.
