How often do you spend time with your friends?

Same with you, before i used to hang-out with my friends almost every night but as years goes by, a big change in your life happens. Maybe get tired or use to it lifestyle. And maybe getting more mature, you're having new priorities in life. But we still get in touch as much as possible.

Probably not as much time as I should. We try to arrange to go to dinner and concerts often. I'm not really one of those people who will call a friend just to hang out, though. I like to have plans.

(I keep trying to post a response to this thread and it keeps telling me to 'type in a response' so if this comes up more than one time, sorry about that!) This sounds weird but I only have a couple of people that I consider true friends; the others are just poeple I know. I'm the kind of person that goes out of my way to help people and 90% of the time I end up getting burned. I learned a long time ago that it is better to have a couple really good friends that you can count on through thick and thin than to have tons of people that 'might' be there for you. I spend one night a week with my friends shooting darts and playing video games at Dave & Busters. I can act like a complete goof around them and they know that I'm just being myself. If I call you a friend then you know that if you call me at three in the morning crying or need a ride, I'm not going to blow you off.

I also used to send the whole day with my friends, but now it is not possible because profession is there, own life is there...... But I really miss those golden moments. I regularly call my friends to keep in touch.

I spend time everyday with my Best Friend, I happen to be married to him. It is a great feeling to have my best friend their for me when I need them. As for my other friends, I usually at least go out once a week and visit, and on the weekends I will often go to dinners and movies with my friends. I have had to maintain a balance in my life in order to do this, one thing that I think would change it would be if I were to have children.

Yes, I am in a similar situation. However,it is better to have a few great friends,rather than having friends only come after you when you are doing well. But ignored you when you need them the most

i live with my best friend (bf) so i spend plenty of time with him. my other friends, i think that i spend enough time with them (on an average about 2-3 hours a week)

When you grow up, your friend will become less and less. It is because we have lot of things to handle. Your family, work and child. It is very valuable for meeting friend in the gathering. I miss school life a lot~

Every week I spend at least a few hours with my closest friends singing karaoke. Once in a while I get out and go to karaoke with my best friend a second night, but not often. I try to make it to her house to visit when I get the chance, but since it a long drive, that doesn't happen real often, but we do keep in touch several times each week through messenger. Most of my other friends are not such close friends, so I don't keep as close contact with them, but there are a couple that I make sure I see at least once each week, usually at karaoke.

Now that I'm not going to school anymore, it's the holidays now and I'm waiting for my exam results to come out, I've been spending less time with friends. I haven't contacted some of them for so long but sometimes we just talk for a while to catch up on things. I guess we are busy with our own things that's why we spend less time with each other. I do miss my friends and the times we had laughing but now, we are either working, busy at home, etc.

I'm in the same boat as you. I think as life goes on we become busier and have less time to hang out or do things of less imporatance. But I think it is imporatant that we take time out of our busy lives to hang out with our frinds and such.

I have all my very close frens with me all the time of the day!!.. me and my frens all are in the same college and have been in the same school as well....and now, we are in the same tuetion classes...so we have a lot of fun all through the day !!!

I'm very busy during the week, so I try to spend as much time as I can with them on the weekends. Even with my best friend. I think that bothers her, but I have no other choice. I have been working at home the last couple weeks trying to get my business off the ground and it takes a lot of hard work, but my friends say that they understand.

Before internet i used to spend almost half day because i had nothing to do then i started business then i bought a computer and took internet connection to entertain myself after working hours and now i am married and having children so its hard to get time for friends ....... so we meet only twice a month and hangout for dinner and outing ............ busy schedule .......

Life has become really busy so very rarely I do spend time with my friends, Though I try to spend some minutes everyday with the friends who work in the same office as mine, others i can just send sms. Well even with my best friend I talk once on phone as we are stationed at differnt far off places.

I do spend some time with them during weekend, it really is enjoying whenever I we get to meet each other. We always have celebrations and gatherings, as if we haven't met for a long time!;) Seems like everytime we have a get together, we always make it as a celebration..

It is so hard to get time with friends once you all have fiance's, husbands, boyfriends, jobs, lives! I have 3 female friends, 1 I see a few times a month, the second I see once every month or less, and the third I see whenever she has time for me which isn't very often lately. I would like to see #1 more often, but we are both so busy! However we work hard to make time for each other a few times a month (even if it's a double date) and it really is great to spend time with friends :) I find that you have to work at a friendship just like you do a marriage - make time for your friends whenever you can, but understand your friends are older and you can't see them every day like you may have as a teen. In the meantime, I try to keep in touch with my friends through email, ecards and messaging. It's not the same as hanging out, but it's better than no contact at all.

same here hcromer, i spend less time with my friends! i spend all my times to my family nothing more, nothing less!

Unfortunately I have no time now, so I can go out with my friends only one time every two months. Instead I go out with my best friend more often, but I'm very busy, my son is 7 and I'm always with him. So I can call my friends very often, we pass a lot of time at the telephone, but we go out very seldom. Sad to say, but it's the truth. I hope to have more time in future to go out with them.

a lot. i go to school with my friends and i hangout with my friends and do things with them on the weekends sometimes. im usually busy so i just count on seeing them in school and i have all my classes with most of them, it perks school up a lot.=)
