Do you get a long with your in laws?

I get along quite well with my husband's mother and brother. They were his only family until today! (well, he has a father but doesn't know him well and he lives across the country) Just yesterday I was searching Myspace and found one of his three half-sisters that he's only met once, when he was 10. She wrote me back this morning confirming her identity and got me in touch with his two other half sisters. They wrote me telling me I had no idea how much this means to them, and they've always wondered about their brothers. Their father is only in contact with my husband and didn't know how to find his daughters... So, it seems to me, after a very touching few e-mails, that I will get along just fine with my three new sister-in-laws! I'm so excited to get to know them... I have a feeling this is the beginning of a very long and happy relationship!

when me and my husband first got together my mom didn't approve so i lived with him and his parents. first we got along but them after about 5 or 6 months me and his dad clashed heads. then it was me and his sister. still to this day i don't like her. but i try to get along with for the kids sake and the family. it has been 9 years and i know how to keep my cool and not blow up with her unless i have too. it is really hard to explain y but i have been through hell because of her. we live an hour away from them so we really don't see her much. but his mom is the get along with everyone and talk about them behind their backs type.
