how often do u format ur computer?

I only format my computer when i NEED to. otherwise there is no use in taking all the time it takes to reformat it.

In the past, there were the days when I had to format twice a day! There were some problems with my PC which clearly formatting wasn't a cure for them. But no matter what, I kept on thinking that formatting is the answer! Now, I am a lot more experienced. I only format twice a year, or to be more precise, whenever I need to.

FORMAT??as in format c: ????I did that last christmas.Becouse of some cute virus and an excellent worm that i've got from downloading something from Microsoft. I don't own a laptop and for me to format ..phuuu...it would require a LOT of back-up.And I'm toooooo lazy to do that. Therefore,i format my computer only when necessary.

Once a month? Once a week? Are you people insane? I format my computer maybe once a year, but never more than once every six months. Do you people know exactly what formatting is? It's when you wipe your entire hard drive clean, and then reinstall Windows. It can take several hours to format a large hard drive and it's not healthy to do it so often. You really are shortening the life of your hard drive if you format it every week. I could never format that often because I have alot of programs and wouldn't want to spend two days resintalling all my programs and files from backups.
