I have been there! The Australian friend of the daughter of my friend stayed at home for some days and we accompanied them to visit beautiful places in the Philippines and one of which was Corregidor. It's also a very historic place as President Quezon was there. There was a hospital there for those who were injured and allegedly there are ghost showing up or crying, etc. Accordingly, the Japanese could not pinpoint where the enemy bullets come from because the cannons were fired from inside the mountain which they cover after firing. Actually this was the last captured by the Japanese for the strong defense area which was Bataan has fallen. The cannons and sorts of high-powered armaments are still there.
The place was restored and it is now a very beautiful tourist spot. A beautiful hotel was then almost finished when we were there and now a beautiful place for conventions, etc. The place itself is very scenic and accordingly sharks are seen in the surrounding waters. From the Manila Bay, we took the ship going to Corregidor. Now there are more transportation means to go there.

Not at all yet. I have not seen the place. But it is being talked about and becoming popular as a tourist spot. I should want to go there someday.
