My maternal grandparents emigrated from Holland. I think I have distant relatives there. My mother just turned 79 yesterday, so it was a long time ago!

I live in the United States. New York State--snow in the winter and sunshine in the summer. I see a lot of different countries represented here on MyLot. That's good. Different viewpoints, etc.
