I am a native of Davao City, Southern Philippines. I just came to Manila after graduation from college. Davao City is the largest city in the Philippines and perhaps in the world with respect to land area. It is very beautiful and there are many fruits so delicious to eat including durian. Mt. Apo is also situated there which mountain climbers are trying to climb. Have you gone to Davao City?

Yes, I have gone to Davao City by land and I enjoy the 3 days travel thru the San Juanico Bridge, back and forth, passing by and seeing beautiful places. That was an exciting experience. I was able to eat plenty of food in Davao especially fruits. I should want to go back again to visit more exciting places.

I haven't been to Davao City but I have heard that it is very beautiful there. One day I would love to reach the highest peak in the Philippines, which is Mt. Apo and eat a bundle full of Durian.hehe... I wish the tourism board here would promote the city more coz you can really do a lot of things in Davao like mountain climbing, and other stuff.

My home province is surigao del sur but I am now staying in davao because I worked in one of the universities here. Yes, Davao city is one of the most wonderful cities in whole Asia, that's why I choose to work here. I want to spend the rest of my life here. Everything is perfect, from peace and order, foods, lifestyle and means of living and most of all, everything is accessible by just one or two rides, unlike other cities in the Philippines.

I have been to many places in the Philippines, and I know that no place else in this country beats Davao City. The water, the food, the people...everything about it is just simply great! Come to Davao City everone and discover the place. You will surely enjoy every minute of your stay here. The place abounds with places to visit, all beautiful and worth your while, and the food, the food is excellent and all reasonably priced. Come, have your fill of the sights and the food.

I have heard that Davao City has a nice climate that's why there are many fruits there. I wish I could visit that place also and go to the tourist spots such as the crocodile farm, etc. and eat plenty of fruits.

I was raised and studied in Davao. My family originally came from Leyte and we sort of "migrated" to Davao when I was still age 8, our residence was near the former Bacnotan/DUCC now Holcim cement plant. I studied at Holy Cross of Bunawan (high school) and Holy Cross of Davao College. Indeed, my heart still belongs in Davao -- a very beautiful and peaceful city with a the biggest area in the country (and the world also?). Though I am now at Leyte since my parents settled back here 1996, I still love Davao and find time to visit my friends (and a lover) there. I am inviting everybody to visit the beauty and magnificense of Davao city -- you will love it.
