With more advances in the last 5 years than the 50 before, technology is advancing literally at the speed of light. Biochip implants in humans and cloning tech make a
frightening combo. If you can access data FROM a human via a
biochip, then can't you also download data into a person?
Combine a clone genetically engineered to receive data with
a self aware, artificially intelligent computer system
(wireless of course) and you have The Terminator. Remember jules verne? when he wrote "20,000 leagues under the sea",everyone thought that the idea of a submarine was pure fantasy.

I'm sorry to be really picky... but how can you say that "technology is advancing literally at the speed of light"? It's not doing that LITERALLY...
but anyway, now for me to be a normal person :)
I really don't think that the advancement of technology is scary. Right now, we lack the technological capability to make anything remotely like a complete human, although there are some exciting new breakthroughs these days. I seriously doubt that there will ever be a Matrix-type situation on our hands - but maybe I'm just being stupid.
