Do you prefer a Mac or a PC?

I used a PC for years. I had to many problems with them and had to spend so much time keeping adware off of the thing. I bought a mac last June. It was an older Powerbook, only 800 Mhz. It still runs the same as the day I got it and I don't need all of these other programs just to keep the thing running great. It even runs better than my 1.5Ghz PC! Needless to say, I will never go back to a PC. In fact, I hope to buy a brand new Mac in a few months.
Which do you prefer and why?

True, but I feel in their quick upgrading of PCs they are lacking a higher quality. We've had Dells, Sonys, etc.. they all work good for a while. You run spyware, adware, anti-virus stuff daily. It doesn't seem to matter. When you install things, files go everywhere in the computer and it seems nearly impossible to completely clear out a program. Things just seem to get piled up "in corners" of the computer and run it down unless you have the patience to wipe everything out every little while.
I disagree though about macs on being a "thing" anymore. They are definitely making a come back. Now they are way more user-friendly than PCs IMO, they are reaching out to PC users by making it to where you can run both operating systems on the computers, and they are generating a lot more loyal customers.

I use a PC, and it's driving me nuts. I really like Apple, but the darn things cost so much more, and procesor speed and memory is so much better $value$ with PC, that it's hard to justify making the switch.

You are very correct about values with a PC, but I figured that I would give up more money for a better quality computer (Macs are IMO). I got mine used off of Ebay and got a GREAT deal on it. You just have to shop around and watch auctions very closely and you can hit some great deals.

I really don't have much experience with Macs. Some friends I know use them, but it was the first time I know that they don't need Anti Virus/Spywares softwares!

We are stuck with our PC's. The primary consideration is financial. I really do not have any idea as to whether the time will come when I will be able to acquire one Mac, if at all.

If you really would like one, I say to check Ebay. I got mine on there with a great deal. You may have to spend a while watching and waiting, but you will find a deal if you keep on truckin'.

Well, a mac has really been used more for work and projects in the past and a PC is just that- a personal computer. Macs to me are way more user friendly and easier to use because you don't have to go through so many hassels with them and they run better for longer. They've started making macs where you can have the mac operating system (right now OS X) and the windows operating system on the computer.
PCs are cheaper, but I don't want one again after having my Mac. It's not very fast, but it runs like a faster computer. PCs seem to slow down rather quickly after you first buy a new one, but my mac is old, still kicking, and running like a champ with no problems.
