how to make money as a 13 year old

Get your mom or dad to sign up for an ebay auction site. Then you go to garage sales and buy things you think would sell well on an auction and put them on ebay. You will have to figure out the costs, like how much you pay for the item, how much ebay changes to list it, and how much ebay takes as a commission after the item sells and add those up to show your expenses. Whatever is left is your profit. Some kids do quite well at this. Things sell on ebay better if you have a picture of the item, but you can study other people auctions to see how it is done. Also, ebay has a lot of information on how to do your auctions.l The reason your parent has to sign for the account is that they are not allowed to pay minors online. I know a boy who did this and sold used computer and gameboy games and he made quite a bit of money. Others I have seen have had a speciality like Star Wars items. I had friends in high school who had their mom or dad sign up for a paper route. They then did the route in the morning before school. It's hard work, but they made something around $500 per month. I think at 13, with the labour laws and just general difficulties with scheduling around school, you're going to have trouble finding a regular job. You're going to need to either start your own business or find a gig of some kind.

Aren't you meant to be 16 when you sign up for this site? Don't tell too much people about your real age or they can cancel your account. Actual jobs at thirteen are hard to find, maybe you can do paper running after school, or take some good pictures, edit them with photoshop or paint shop pro and sell them to places where you can? I see you've started already with mylot. Slow and steady leads the way ;)

I am a 15 yr old and i still dont have a regular job, but i would suggest getting and older partner and selling stuff on ebay. the reason that i tell you to do this is because that is basically what i have begun to do. Me and my dad are trying to start a small at home business thenm we hope to grow.
