Fear Factor "Balot" / myLot

I remember watching a previous episode of fear factor where one the food featured feared is eating "balot". it's a young duck inside an egg, not yet hatched, yet it was cooked while it's alive inside... In philippines, it's one of the best sidewalk food, that gives energy to men and women who ate it.... does anybody tried and tasted it? what nutrients exactly is in it?

I eat balut with matching vinegar and salt. My favorite balot is called "balot sa puti". It is a type of balot where the chick inside it hasn't fully developed yet. I don't eat the chick if I could already recognize it.

i eat balut too, but that's also my problem i don't want to see it. that's why when i buy balut on the street, i go where there's no street light...hehe thank's for the comment anyway...

yup, i also have seen those episodes of fear factor. I thought that was so easy to do but they look so 'in pain' in those episodes.
