Do you have a theory about Meredith and her fate? Do you think they will find a way to connect to her inner thoughts and make her want to come back? Do you think because she was hypothermic and her body temperature was so low that something will happen and she will slowly return to life...or do you think they may well write her out and have her moderate the show from "above"? It will be interesting to see how it all plays out...I know in real life there have been people that were thought to be dead because of the length of time their hearts didn't beat and they didn't breathe..yet because of the hypothermia they pulled out of it without damage because the body slowed down so much it protected everthing...wonder which approach they will take?...I love the show and the characters are great...they only seem to get better as time goes on...and there are such great story lines available for every one of them!!! Thursday will tell...what are you thinking will happen??????

I think with Meredith that she has not gone yet I have heard that some people do survive because of hypothermic and their temperatures go so low to protect them but that when they come back that they are ok they do feel a bit lost at first for going so long but it is similar to a coma and people do come out of these so there is still hope for Meredith. I think by Thursday that Meredith will be back.

Meredith just can't die! She's the focal character on the show. I love this show. I've watched it since the very first episode, and haven't missed any! No, I don't think she'll die, but I think we're going to bite our nails for awhile til we know for sure. My theory is the hypothermia will slow down her metabolism and keep her alive. I tape it on our DVR, so I don't get to watch it until the weekend. I'm sure we're in for a "roller coaster" ride, and I, for one, can't wait!
