My favourite is Royal Brunei. That's because the stewardesses take the trouble to remember my favourite drinks and offer these to be when they are available. Even though I flew by economy.

I haven't flown much but of the airlines that are still around I would have to say Qantas...I would never fly Virgin as they knocked me back on a credit card not long ago so I vowed I would never virgin anything....")

Hi, I think I watched too many episodes of Aircrash Investigations. I have been up in more aircraft than I have come down in, I don't really like the idea of getting on a plane without a parachute. A train, bus or ship will do me fine thank you. 'What's that you say, a ship sunk the other day with all hands lost, crikey what happened?' 'A plane hit it.' Ship's have lifeboats, planes have nothing.

My favourite airline was Trans World Airlines of the USA, TWA. But they were taken over in 2001, now it is much harder to choose a favourite airline because there are so few true pioneers that really offer something special. I have flown Aer Arann a few times and I am starting to like them more and more.

Virgin Airlines, hands down! Even economy class is comfortable and they are brilliant if you are travelling with kids. Everyone on long hauls have their own programmable movie and games console, you have ahuge choice of meals, the kids' kit is actually interesting, and when I had to change flights due to a family member being ill, they bent over backwards to help me.
