how can i prolong the life of my laptop battery?

You Should refrain from using it. Just use & charge it when needed. If at home and you can work without using the battery, much better... wraithstrider http://wraithstrider.bravehost.com

By not always charging it, but letting it go to a low level before pugging in in. Unless you always have it pugged in..
