What are the advantages and disadvantages about using biomass as a energy source?

the advantages of using biomass as an energy source is that not only are we using the waste but we are also creating fuel using thta waste which means the waste is being utilised to create energy that means we do not have to burn or throw the waste in places we can use them for energy!
